A single dental implant replaces one missing tooth without touching the neighbouring teeth. A titanium post is placed into the jawbone and acts as an artificial root.

Over the following months the implant fuses with the bone. An abutment is then connected and a custom crown is fitted, matched in shade and shape to the surrounding teeth.

Implants preserve the jawbone, keep adjacent teeth from drifting and restore full chewing function.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a single dental implant take?

Placement takes about an hour; the implant then integrates for 3–6 months before the final crown is fitted.

Can the crown be fitted on the same trip?

For many patients we place the implant on the first trip and fit the crown on a second visit, or arrange a temporary crown in between.
